Russell Medcraft
CEO & Founder
Russell is a pioneer in the financial advice industry in Australia with over 38 years advising clients on financial planning and making a profound difference to their lives. Russell started his professional life as an Accountant for a large multinational in Melbourne in 1980.
After moving to Sydney and helping establish the local branch of the International Association of Financial Planning which later became the FPA he became a National Manager for investors for the AMP in the early 90’s.
Russell established Financial Choice in 1996 and then set up www.findmysuper.com.au the first online search facility for superannuation with the assistance of the ATO in 2000. In 2003 with the growth of the SMSF market in Australia Russell established a leading SMSF administration business and web site called selfmanagedsuper.com.au.
He has authored two books on wealth management and retirement planning and has been working with Longview economics in London since 2010 developing model portfolios for investment clients in Australia.
Russell holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and is a self-managed super expert adviser with the SMSF association. He is a Certified Financial Planner and graduate of Collaborative Family Law from UTS. He is also a registered tax agent and director of Australian Online Taxation Services.
Vincent Ting
National Operations Manager & Financial Adviser
With more than ten years of experience in the financial services industry, Vincent is passionate about financial planning, delivering exceptional service to clients and making a difference. He has extensive knowledge across superannuation (including self-managed super funds), insurance, estate planning and investments and plays a critical role in developing financial strategies for clients.
In addition to being a financial adviser, Vincent also is the National Operations Manager overseeing the services delivered to all clients. Vincent’s data analytics and CRM skills allow him to efficiently monitor activities across all levels to maintain service standards and compliance.
Vincent’s Qualifications:
Vincent has a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Studies and Accounting, and a Diploma in Financial Planning.
Emily Lee
Director-Client Services
Emily has over 25 years of Financial Services experience and has been with Financial Choice, a division of Best Interest Advice for 9 years. Emily has extensive experience in superannuation and insurance claims management with AMP before joining us.
She is passionate about delivering the best Customer Experience and leaving the client completely satisfied with the outcome. Emily manages the onboarding of new clients from account opening, insurance implementation and ongoing reviews. Emily will set up your online brokerage accounts to executing the trades on your investments. She is also the first point of contact for client enquiries and continually informs our clients on the progress and status of applications and consolidations of super and contributions.

Brooke Medcraft
Director – Client Engagement
Experienced Sales Manager with a demonstrated history working in high profile, senior sales management roles. Skilled in mentoring, team motivation and development, relationship building, strategy negotiations and high level business planning projections.
Strong sales professional focused on cementing close client relationships.
Brooke’s Qualifications:
Brooke has a Bachelor of Media Communications and has graduated from sophisticated sales leadership and mentoring programmes such as Enterprise Leadership, Strategic Leadership and Women in Leadership with Black Isle Consultants.

Harry Colvin is a Director and Senior Market Strategist at Longview Economics. He specialises in global asset allocation, macro themes, and commodities. He has built and developed Longview’s commodity research process, timing models, trade recommendations and research products. Harry travels extensively, meeting clients, speaking at conferences and hosting economic debates.
