I would just like to say a huge thank you for what you have achieved with my superannuation portfolio. I met Russell in 2006/7 whilst working at an oil company in Melbourne. I had moved with my husband to Melbourne from New Zealand in 2004, and this was the first time I had heard of superannuation, it was only then being introduced in NZ.
In 2007 I told Russell what my super balance was, and he looked clearly surprised, I was 43 years old and had very little in my fund (I think around $20k). I transferred my super to Russell to manage and implemented salary sacrificing as much as I could, so that by 2015 my super was significant, I am happy to say that as a woman my super balance is exceptional, I have trusted Russell in all his advice and the proof is in the results. In February this year I caught up with Russell and the results were astonishing, and then COVID, I honestly never looked because I did not want to as what was the point, but with Russell’s guidance and advice my super has continued to perform.
My husband transferred his super to Russell in 2018 and the results have been exceptional, he is nearly matching mine, and for someone who earned substantially more than me, and was salary sacrificing his balance in 2018 was less than mine till he moved to Financial Choice.
Would I recommend Russell, absolutely, I will drink a toast to you Russell in my old age when that happens, which we hope is no time soon.
